Acceptance

By downloading or using Grouse, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.

Use of the app

Grouse is provided for personal, non-commercial household use. You may use the app to manage shopping lists and store loyalty card information for yourself and members of your household.

You agree not to:

• Use the app for any unlawful purpose
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or tamper with the app or its backend services
• Use the app to store sensitive personal data beyond its intended purpose
• Abuse shared spaces to harass or interfere with other users

Shared spaces

Shared spaces are created voluntarily by users. The space owner is responsible for managing access, including sharing credentials only with trusted household members. Grouse is not responsible for unauthorized access resulting from shared credentials.

Service availability

Grouse is provided on a best-effort basis. The app works offline and does not require a constant internet connection. Sync features depend on the availability of our backend infrastructure. We do not guarantee any specific uptime for cloud sync services and are not liable for temporary unavailability.

No warranty

Grouse is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind, express or implied. We make no guarantees that the app will be error-free, uninterrupted, or suitable for any particular purpose. Use at your own risk.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Softverse shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of Grouse, including loss of data. Our total liability, if any, shall not exceed the amount you paid for the app.

Intellectual property

The Grouse app, name, icon, and all related branding are the property of Softverse. You may not reproduce, redistribute, or create derivative works based on them without written permission.

Third-party services

Grouse uses Microsoft Azure for backend infrastructure and Apple platforms for distribution. Your use is also subject to Apple's App Store terms and Microsoft's service terms where applicable.

Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. Significant changes will be communicated via an updated date on this page. Continued use of the app following any changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Slovak Republic, without regard to conflict of law principles.
